The 1986 season remains one of the most treasured in Parramatta Eels history. That year, the Eels defeated the Bulldogs 4–2 in the NSWRL Grand Final, securing our fourth premiership of the decade. It was the final appearance for club legends Ray Price and Mick Cronin and the only Grand Final in NSWRL/NRL history without a single try scored.
